Charles Darwin (1809-1882) has a long name “Charles Robert Darwin” is a scientist who came from England, who found the results of research in the Galapagos Islands to support the theory of evolution. Charles Darwin called the father of evolution because it has more complete data to corroborate the theory of evolution.

Two basic core of Darwin’s theory:

1. Species that live in the present comes from the creatures that live in the past.

2. Evolution occurs because of the process of natural selection (natural selections)

Darwin’s theory has been broken by the findings of Harun Yahya, is strengthened by the publication of related research and important discoveries about early man on December 31, 2009.

Based on the results of research for many years, the entire team of researchers headed by Tim White of the University of California revealed a proof that humans and chimps have evolved separately. Indirectly, this finding has been toppled Darwin’s theory which argues that humans came from apes!

“Ardi” the Human Ancestor

Fossils of prehistoric human female sex was discovered in 1994 in Ethiopia. This is the skeleton of the oldest primate that reportedly issued a bright spot in our study of human evolution.

The scientists named the fossil “Ardi”, short for “Ardipithecus ramidus”. Following the findings of the scientists on these ancient human fossils:

• Ardi summed up as an actual human ancestors. So we are not the ancestors of apes such as Darwin said.
• Ardi lived about 4.5 million years ago. He lived in a region in Ethiopia which is now called Aramis.
• Ardi was a century older than Lucy, the skeleton of primates other parents who had also been found in Africa in 1974.
• Ardi has a height of four feet or about 1.2 meters.
• Ardi fossil consists of 125 pieces of the framework that includes the skull, teeth, pelvis, hand bones and foot bones.
• Ardi is estimated to weigh around 110 pounds or 49 kilograms.
• Ardi’s brain estimated with the size of a chimpanzee brain. But the ability to stand upright on two legs is a characteristic that causes this species closer to humans.
